Functional description

The pre-filled bottles are transported by an infeed worm from the conveyer belt to the
rotating in-feed star. The in-feed star then passes the bottles to the rotating lever stars. They separate and
transport the bottles to the conveyer stars. The bottles stand on a turntable and are initially guided along
the bottle alignment rail. Here, the bottle is slowed down by a belt and is forced to rotate. When the bottle
reaches the correct position, the clip is fixed into the guide. In the next station, the stopper is positioned
onto the mouth of the bottle. The swing top is then pressed down by a pneumatically operated locking barrel,
and finally the bottle is returned to the conveyer belt by an out-feed star. In the out-feed star, the
clamping force of the clip is checked and the bottle is returned to the conveyer belt. If the clamping force
is too low, the bottles are re-opened and identified by an infra-red sensor.
Machine design

All elements are made from rust-proof stainless steel (1.4301) and hard-wearing, durable
plastic (PAS 10 and PAX LX). Soiling can be rinsed off with hot water (up to 90° C). The moisture created by
this acts as a lubricant when the plant is re-started. The lower part of the plant is formed by a solid frame
which is welded together from NIRO stainless steel tubes. The upper part of the plant is fitted with a
transparent protective covering as standard.
Hygienic Design

Our double
carousel closing machines are built in hygienic design. The main focus of the hygienic design is to provide an
easy cleanability of the materials, surfaces and structural elements.
Noise protection enclosure
The system is fitted by default with a transparent safety enclosure made of composite safety glass (CSG) in
accordance with DIN 12543-2. Noise emissions are reduced as a result and the operator is isolated from the
hazard zone. CSG is a laminate safety glass that does not shatter when broken. Reducing the risk of injury in
the case of an accident.
Detection of Bottle Burst

The fact that a
broken bottle, also known as a "bottle burst", can sometimes happen in the filling line cannot be prevented -
but an immediate reaction should be taken if a bottle breaks. Flying pieces of glass could get into bottle
containers and cause a potential hazard.
Why AMS?
In addition to many years of industry experience and specialization in technology related to the swing lock, our
systems have a high safety and quality standard. Standard-compliant machine components from leading
manufacturers, the highest quality seals and the finest materials are used in this system and guarantee
problem-free operation.
